Fresh for 2020, Tag Heuer have announced the release of the new Formula 1 Chronograph.
The novelties release showcases a bold design, with the use of a racy carbon fibre textured dial, vivid yellow chapter ring and a Tachymeter scale on the black ceramic bezel, the watch is unmistakably inspired by the collection’s motorsport heritage namesake.
The watch is a no-frills approach to an all frills design, the dial alone features no fewer than 6 different colours or shades.
The new Formula 1 Chronograph houses a Quartz movement inside a stainless steel case, which measures in at 43mm and offers a mixture of fine brushed and high polish finish throughout, the brand opting not to depart from the current formula 1 line-ups case design.
Tag Heuer have secured the Quartz chronograph movement with both a screw down case back and screw down crown, offering the piece 200m of water resistance, a move which makes the watch viable as an all-day every day wear.
Available in two variants, the Formula 1 Quartz chronograph comes adorned with either a black rubber band or stainless-steel bracelet.
In opting for the rubber, Tag pairs the watch with a racing style perforated black rubber strap, secured by a traditional pin buckle.
A standard Tag Heuer 3 link bracelet brush finished on all sides is available at a small retail premium, and is secured with the current generation of Tag double security push clasp.
The Tag Heuer Formula 1 Quartz Chronograph 43mm is available now from all retailers.
