2019 – Baselworld Rolex Releases – Part 2

Continuing on from the previous segment on Rolex’s latest releases during Baselworld 2019, we present the 3 remaining models (and their variants) below. 

OYSTER PERPETUAL DAY-DATE 36 

REFERENCE : 128238,128235,128348 RBR and 128349 RBR

The Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36 has been released in a variety of new dials. Two variations of the dial appear with novel concentric gradient finishes. One is the green ombre on the watch presented in 18ct yellow gold and the other is the brown ombre present in the 18ct Everose gold.  

The other two variants in the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36 line up is the models that come with pink opal or turquoise dials. The bezel is fitted with 52 brilliant cut diamonds. The two models come in 18ct white gold and 18 ct yellow gold. 

Besides the two previously mentioned, there is also another model in the Oyster Perpetual Day – Date 36 line up which is a precious version in 18 ct white gold. This model has a dial that is entirely diamond paved and the hour markers are made up of 10 baguette-cut sapphires. The bezel is finished with 52 brilliant cut diamonds, while the bracelet of the model also comes fitted with 412 brilliant cut diamonds on the centre links. 

The movement throughout all the dial variations in the models above come equipped with the new generation calibre 3255. The calibre 3255 includes the Chronergy escapement and comes with a power reserve of upto 70 hours. 

OYSTER PERPETUAL DATEJUST 36

Rolex’s Oyster Perpetual Datejust 36 comes in two variants. The first is a White Rolesor version which is a mixture of Oystersteel and 18 ct gold. This variant comes with a black sunray finish dial. There is a  fluted Oystersteel 18 ct white gold bezel, fitted into Rolex’s Oyster case. The bracelet on this variant comes with the Jubilee bracelet which is fitted with the Easylink comfort extension link. 

The second variant in the Oyster Perpetual Datejust 36 is the white Rolesor version with the white mother-of-pearl dial. On the dial, the hour markers are finished with 10 diamond markers. The Oyster case is fitted with the 18ct white gold bezel and instead of being fluted finish comes with 52 brilliant cut diamonds. The bracelet is fitted with folding Oysterclasp and the Easylink comfort extension link. 

Both variants come with the new generation calibre 3235. This calibre has a power reserve of upto 70 hours and also comes with Rolex’s Chronergy escapement. 

OYSTER PERPETUAL DATEJUST 31

REFERENCE : 278273 and 278271

The Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 has been released in two new variants. The first model is the yellow Rolesor which is combining Oystersteel and 18 ct yellow gold. The dial on this model comes with a olive-green sunray finish with the hour markers being 18ct yellow gold Roman numerals. The bracelet is offered for this model in two-tone Jubilee. 

The second variant is the Everose Rolesor version, which combines Oystersteel and 18ct Everose gold. The dial finish is a rose-colored sunray finish. The hour markers are Roman numerals finished in 18ct pink gold. 

The movement inside both models come with the calibre 2236 and has a power reserve of up to approximately 55 hours.
