Hublot has created a stunning new Big Bang model, with the sole purpose of the watch being sold purely online. Hublot understands the supply and demand of the watch market and is trying to cater to the needs of the potential buyers that miss out on timepieces, especially limited edition timepieces.
Most limited edition models can only be purchased through boutiques, or if that isn’t the case, selected boutiques. In some countries, the watch, in particular, will only have small allocations, meaning they will only receive a few models out of the total limited release. This makes it all very hard for buyers to have an even playing field, with customers also closer to boutiques having a greater advantage than others.
Hublot created the all-new Big Bang Unico Essential Grey to not only update the Big Bang Unico line but also to cater to all prospective buyers and even the playing field. With the watch being purely sold online, it gives all prospective customers the same chance at grabbing this limited edition timepiece.
This new Big Bang Unico Essential Grey comes with a monochrome and satin-finished look while carrying the unmistakable design of the original Big Bang Unico model. The case is made from titanium, with the satin-finish look being carried over to the bezel, hands, and dial.
Hublot CEO, Ricardo Guadalupe is a big fan of this new creation as he states “for the first time in the history of Hublot, we have imagined and designed the Big Bang Unico Essential Grey limited edition solely to be sold online. In doing so, we wanted to emphasise how important e-commerce has become in our thinking. All our fans, collectors, and potential clients now have an equal chance to obtain this magnificent and rare new model.”

The all-new Big Bang Unico Essential Grey certainly is a head-turner, with the all-grey stain-finish look giving it a great aesthetic appeal. The watch is easily legible too, as the skeletonised dial of the Big Bang Unico lends way to the hour indices and hands standing out clearly against its backdrop.
The watch is also offered in two strap variations. Firstly a grey lined rubber strap and the second choice being a grey fabric with Velcro fastening strap. Thanks to Hublot’s patented One-Click System, both straps are easily interchangeable.
Only 200 of this latest edition of the Big Bang Unico will be produced. However thanks to Hublot only releasing this item online, it gives all prospective buyers a much-needed equal chance of snapping this model up.
