Hublot has released a new series of watches just in time for the European summer. These new timepieces are been presented on the back of a series of new boutiques being opened in Italy, France, Spain, Turkey, and Greece! Each boutique will have its own unique limited edition timepiece designed to the Mediterranea sea summer theme.
The timepieces were created with Hublot’s base model Classic Fusion Chronograph, with different renditions to suit the individual boutique’s country. Each watch comes with a 45m case with a water resistance of 50m.
The models come with an open case back with engravings to represent each boutique’s location, such as; “Capri Edition”, “Mykonos Edition”, “Boutique Bodrum”, “Ibiza Edition”, and “Boutique Forte dei Marmi”.
The movement inside each of these models is Hublot’s own self-winding calibre, HUB1143. The HUB1143 calibre has a frequency of approximately 4Hz (28, 800 VpH) and gives out a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
ITALY – Forte Dei Marmi
A brand new Hublot boutique will make its appearance in the Tuscan seaside resort of Forte Dei Marmi. As we now know, the opening of this boutique will be marked by the release of the Classic Fusion Chronograph Boutique Forte dei Marmi. This model will be limited to 35 pieces, with it having a stunning satin-finished and polished ceramic beige case. The dial matches the case with it having a beige sunray finish.
The hour markers and hands are done in polished rhodium-plated. This model is offered in two different strap options. The first is a matching beige-lined rubber strap, with the second being a beautiful summer-fitting blue-lined rubber strap.
ITALY – Capri
The island of Capri is famous for its stunning landscapes, palaces, yachts, and the prestigious Rue Vittorio Emanuele. Now, it’s also home to the brand new Hublot Boutique. The 30-piece limited-edition model created to mark the opening of this boutique is the Classic Fusion Chronograph Boutique Capri.
Fit for a seaside lifestyle, this model features a polished and satin-finished titanium case with a blue ceramic bezel. The dial is white with blue counters that match the bezel colour. The white dial perfectly separates the blues, with the lined rubber strap being done in blue as well.
GREECE – Mykonos
The third new boutique to make an appearance is in Greece, in particular, Mykonos. Mykonos is known to be party central, with an array of nightclubs. It also has some spectacular beaches, which is what Hublot’s limited-edition timepiece dedicated to the Mykonos boutique is based on.
The Classic Fusion Chronograph carries a stunning dark blue ceramic case which is nice contrasted by a satin-finished and polished 5N gold bezel, chronograph pushers, and crown.
The dial follows suit, with it being a blue sunray finish, with the hour markers, hands, and chronograph counters done in 5N gold-plated. The strap also complements this watch nicely as its blue rubber combined with blue alligator with gold stitching. One of the chronograph counters is designed as a bladed rotor which is a reference to the Kato Myli, the island’s iconic windmills.
TURKEY – Bodrum
The boutique opening in Turkey is in Bodrum. Bodrum was built using stone from Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, which is one of the seven wonders of the world. The limited-edition watch to be released alongside the Bodrum boutique opening is inspired by the sparkling colours of the Aegean Sea, which the city faces. The Classic Fusion Chronograph Boutique Bodrum comes with a satin-finished and polished titanium case and bezel.
The dial is blue with gradation with contrasting white sub-counters. Two strap choices are offered, with the first being dial colour matching blue alligator with white stitching, and the second being a white rubber with white stitching.
SPAIN- Ibiza
The 5th new boutique opening takes place on the Island of Ibiza, Spain. The party island is now how to a brand new boutique, with a brand new limited-edition timepiece to suit. The Classic Fusion Chronograph Boutique Ibiza is certainly eye-catching.
The case is satin-finished and polished dark blue ceramic with a matching bezel. The matte white dial contrasts nicely against the blue case and bezel, which is then followed by the applied hour markers, hands, and chronograph counters done in CVD blue to match. The strap on offer is a blue rubber and white alligator, with matching blue stitching.
