Issued in a limited edition of 190 pieces, with a burgundy dial and pink gold case, the Reverso Tribute Duoface Fagliano pays tribute to its rare and timeless design. This Reverso embodies the Duoface concept with two time zones on two opposing dials.
The JLC Reverso is one of the most iconic wristwatches in history. A timepiece that is so expertly engineered, it is able to feature two separate dials, operating independently of each other, on each side of a reversable case. The watch is simply an engineering marvel.
Here we are introduced to the latest in a great line of tribute reverso models, this in partnership with Argentine bespoke bootmaker Casa Fagliano.
The new piece features a gorgeous pink gold case, in the Grande size case. 47mm x 28,3mm and standing at just 10.3mm thick.
On the secondary face of the timepiece, we find the staple, night and day indicator with the stunning silver clous de Paris dial.
Powered by the excellent JLC hand wound calibre 854A/2 and accompanied by a two-material strap in both cordovan leather and canvas.
The calibre used in the watch is JLC’s magnificently hand assembled and decorated 854A/2, which features 160 parts and 42 hours of power reserve. The movement is designed specifically for the Reverso model and is shaped to the case perfectly.
Far gone now from its origins, the Reverso has become a showcase of exotic complications and finishing. JLC using the line to exhibit to the world why it remains, the watchmaker’s watchmaker.
This new Reverso Duoface will be limited to just 190 pieces worldwide, in tribute to the 90th anniversary of the first Reverso model’s debut. Retailing at $37,400AUD the new piece will no doubt be in high demand.
