Over the next 7- 8 weeks, The Hour Glass will be showcasing a series of short films, whereby they highlight nine of the world’s leading creative artists. The series will follow the journey of these individuals and show their real dedication to their craft. This series comes at a time where The Hour Glass is celebrating their 40th anniversary, which they will use to honour and pay tribute to the mission of advancing the watch culture.
The first featured artist was Maximilian Büsser from MB&F. The episode aired on April 22nd on The Hour Glass’s official youtube channel.
This episode touched on how Maximilian Büsser came to be a watchmaker after completing his engineering degree and the watch he bought after his near-death experience. The short film then goes into what inspires Maximilian Büsser to create the incredible pieces that MB&F put out and the many challenges you come across during such a process.
