2020 Panerai Luminor Marina Collection Released

For 2020 Panerai have focused their novelties to just one of the brands model lines. It is the year of the Luminor. 

Ranging from a luminescent tribute to the brands legacy, to a once in a life time exploration with brands ambassador, Mike Horn, Panerai’s new pieces embody the true Paneristi spirit.

Paying Tribute to the 70^th anniversary of Luminor, the radiant substance now synonymous with the Luminor Marina model line, three new limited edition Luminor Marina models are born in 2020.

The DMLS, Carbotech and the Prima Assoluta Fibratech, all in the classic 44mm Luminor case.

Boasting a 70-year warranty, and limited to just 270 pieces each, the models showcase Panerai’s new super-luminova technology. Coating the indices, the dial and even the iconic crown guard, these watches truly are a sight to behold.

Not to be outdone by its glowing brethren, the Panerai Luminor Marina Goldtech offers its own glistening attraction.

Combining modern engineering and classic elegance, Panerai cases this watch in its proprietary Goldtech. A mixture that unlike standard yellow gold, is made with a percentage of copper that imbues the material with a rich and intense red hue. Coupled with a sun brushed blue sandwich dial, the Luminor Gold tech feels fit for the boardroom or the beach.

Housed within the fibratech case and below a gradient blue sandwich dial, beats the 4hz caliber P.9010 providing the watch with an impressive 70 hour power reserve.

And, from the sea to the summit. Panerai once again teams up with legendary explorer, Mike Horn to offer something truly bold. The Panerai Submersible Ecopangea Tourbillion GMT. Limited to just 5 pieces, anyone who purchases the watch will get a once in a life time, arctic expedition with Mike Horn himself. 

The watch features the usual Submersible case shape, only this piece is constructed using high-tech steel composed of recycled metal from Horn’s sailing ship. The skeletonized dial shows just how jam packed this adventure lover’s grail piece truly is. Featuring hours, minutes, small seconds, GMT, 24h indicator, power reserve indicator and a tourbillon. The only thing this watch is missing is the kitchen sink, unless that was part of the recycled material used to craft the watch.
