Joining a veritable murderer’s row of unique talents such as Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Winslet and Barbara Palvin, Hollywood superstar Henry Cavill has officially made his way into the world of horology!

Ever since their founding in 1832, Longines has sought to uphold the values of understated luxury and unparalleled elegance. This, perhaps, is what makes him the perfect choice for an equally understated brand like Longines. It would seem, however, that the attraction was indeed mutual:

I, for one, am overjoyed to see one of my favourite actors begin their foray into the fabulous world of watches, and I hope the watch world is eager as I am to welcome him in with open arms. Longines, on the other hand, should be careful not to let Henry Cavill get too close to the watches during his factory visit. That jawline is so sharp, it could cut through just about anything.
