The Swiss watchmaker strengthened their partnership with Partridge Jewellers by opening a brand-new boutique in Auckland, New Zealand.
August 30, 2024, was an important day for the Swiss luxury watchmaker. It marked a significant milestone: the brand’s first boutique in New Zealand, located in Auckland, was opened in collaboration with Patridge Jewellers. This is undoubtedly an important milestone for TAG Heuer as they further expand their retail footprint worldwide.
This new TAG Heuer boutique is located on Queen Street, in Auckland’s bustling Central Business District, within the city’s premier luxury shopping district. The boutique is the first of its kind in New Zealand. With an established presence of 11 boutiques across Australia, including the recently renovated Sydney Flagship, TAG Heuer is thrilled to extend its retail footprint into Auckland.
To create this exciting new venture for TAG Heuer in New Zealand, they partnered with Partridge Jewellers to carry out the project. Partridge Jewellers is a renowned name in New Zealand, especially when it comes to fine jewellery and watches. Partridge Jewellers has been around since 1864, sharing a similar historical timeline as TAG Heuer, which was founded in 1860. Both brands also share similar values, such as upholding tradition, innovation and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
Partridge Jewellers is now in its sixth generation of family ownership and in-house operation. The jeweller currently operates eight stores across New Zealand, including this brand-new TAG Heuer boutique, with each of the stores being known for offering fine jewellery and luxury timepeices. Partridge Jewellers continues to set the standard in the industry. This partnership with TAG Heuer enhances their enduring collaboration and aligns with TAG Heuer’s strategic expansion in the region.

The inside of the Auckland boutique uses contrasting grey tones, smoked mirrors and perfectly refined blues to showcase the brand’s Swiss heritage while also paying respect to the TAG Heuer Monaco collection. These elements are complemented by the likes of stone, wood and European finishings so that the boutique’s interior design reflects both contemporary craftsmanship and traditional heritage.
