Released in Baselworld 2019, the Breitling Premier Bentley Centenary Limited Edition is produced in 18k red gold and stainless-steel versions. The prestigious watchmaker released the Premier Bentley Centenary Limited Edition models the same day Bentley released the Centenary Limited Edition Continental GT Number 9 Edition by Mulliner to celebrate their partnership and their 100 years of motoring excellence Breitling’s partnership with Bentley motors initially dates back to 2003, when Bentley had the watchmaker design the onboard clock on their very first Continental GT.
The Breitling Premier Bentley Centenary Limited Edition’s dial comes in a beautiful brown Elm burl finish. The wood-like finish on the dial resembles the wooden inserts in the new Continental GT Number 9 Edition. Breitling has used the iconic black contrasting colour for the chronograph counters. The black colour on the counters indicates that the movement in the watch is Brietling’s manufacture caliber 01. The counters represent the seconds sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position, with the 30 minute sub-dial at the 3 o’clock position. On the left-hand side of the casing, there is a plate with the engraving “Bentley”.
The manufacture calibre 01 movement used in Breitling’s Premier Bentley Centenary Limited Edition produces approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The movement is done completely in-house and has been COSC-certified. This timepiece comes with an open case back which showcases the movement, while also displaying the Bentley logo. The back of the case also has an inscription of “One of 200” for the 18k red gold edition. The stainless-steel edition has the “One of 1000” inscription.
This elegant watch has a beautiful brown leather strap with white stitching that matches the tone of the dial and is inspired by the seats in a Bentley.
